MARLENE DUNN PHOTOGRAPHY is a family-owned and family-run business where we have the opportunity to share in our client's most memorable moments. What started out purely as a hobby for me, has turned into not only MY career but also my daughter's......Kelly.

I began my journey as a full-time Photographer in 1989 out of my home and eventually moved our studio to Main Street in Four Oaks. We enjoyed being a storefront business for 8 years but then returned to being a HOME STUDIO again in 2014 and WE LOVE IT HERE!!! What a privilege to work from home.

Not only do I have the privilege of working with my daughter, Kelly D. Johnson.......but also my husband of 40 years, Wayne. We call him the "TECHNO-GEEK" of our business and he pays detail to all those things I don't care anything about, like.......batteries, computers, and repairs. Wayne gets credit for putting the icing on the cake, so to speak, by finishing up our work with beautiful matting and framing.

I am a Mother to 2 kids, Kelly Dunn Johnson and Kevin Dunn. They are both married, "grown and gone," as I say, and have given us 5 beautiful Grandchildren.

I am truly blessed by God to get to be able to work with my family. But I am also blessed and thankful to those who entrust this awesome responsibility of capturing the "special moments and stages" of their lives! What a privilege!!!
